Dr. Paul M. Willette is a historical archeologist who studies the rise and fall of ancient civilizations that made an impact on world history. The scholar lists the Tomb of Qin Shi Huangdi, Teotihuacán, Moche ruins, Petra, and Acropolis of Athens as his favorite archeological sites.

As someone who specializes in historical archeology, Dr. Paul M. Willette studies civilizations that existed 500 to 600 years ago.  Like other archeologists, Dr. Willette joins searches to find and examine ancient artifacts. Unlike other archeologists who study prehistoric artifacts, historical archeologists usually compare what they have discovered with written history and oral tradition.  

When he’s not busy at work, Dr. Paul M. Willette likes to do outdoor activities and sports, such as swimming. He enjoys listening to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and Claude Debussy.
